  1. The whole part with "putting on the skin" or "deciding ones look from memory" could be a sneaky way to retcon in the possibility of having a young Obi-Wan force ghost appear in ep VIII or IX.

  2. I prefer Sebastian Shaws force ghost. He had so friendly and real father like smile to Luke and not that creepy smirk from Hayden.

  3. I don’t think it was a matter of Anakin learning how to be a force ghost. Obi-Wan and Yoda must’ve helped facilitate the process in some way.

  4. You could simply explain Anakin's knowledge to manifest a force ghost. Due to him being born of the force. His true connection to the force as the chosen one. Or perhaps his experience and time on Mortis could be a good explanation. A clone Wars episode that has yet to be fully explained.

  5. Anakin learned by many ways….
    (1) The new comics when Vader was in that abandoned Jedi Temple hearing ObiWan's and QuiGon's voices, and he brushed them off saying "foolish ghosts of the past" or something to that effect.
    (2) In those Clone Wars episodes from the Lost Season, ANAKIN got a LOT of clues from YODA to make him CURIOUS
    (3) In A New Hope, he flat out SAW ObiWan disappear right before him.

Those are just a FEW clues to have made Vader RESEARCH something about the force that even Palpatine never told him… and probably because Palpatine never taught him how to cheat death either.

I have a hunch this will be a story in the near future, because Anakin learned by putting enough pieces together to figure it out… with the ULTIMATE action of BEING A SACRIFICE to save his son.

  6. To me it was better when it was simply something that happened to a Jedi who gave himself over to the will of the Force. Not some superpower or learned ability. It sort of cheapens it now.

  7. so luke, leia, rey or kylo could stick around after death.

why not have obi-wan learn it in the stand alone movie? or book. how come kenobi learned to do it so fast?

    love the shows.
