Tyler Posey REACTS To Leaked Photos For First Time

Tyler Posey, who attened New York City Comic Con for the first time without his Teen Wolf castmates, opened up to UsWeekly about having his private photos stolen earlier this year.

The way upcoming start of Decoy feels about his photo hack might not be what you expected.

The 25-year-old heartthrob and his costar Cody Christian both had nude photos surface online back in January, but he’s not letting it bring him down. When the magazine asked him how he felt about the intimate pictures of him being out there, Posey just put his hands on his head, laughed and responded, “I don’t care. It puts less stress [on you] if you just brush it off.”

The actor then revealed that he believes the hack was due to identity theft, confirming that he got a letter in the mail saying he’s a victim in a case of someone hacking into icloud. He said, QUOTE “I think I had my identity taken. I think I’ve had it stolen”. We’re sure he’s been incredibly focused on working on MTV’s new season of Scream and just doesn’t want to get distracted. Hopefully he gets the identity theft stuff sorted out!

Posey’s ex-girlfriend, actress Bella Thorne, weighed in on the leak, writing “Honestly there needs to be harsher laws against bullying and cyber bullying this is not ok.”

In reporting this story, we’ve consciously chosen not to refer to this hack as a scandal, because – as Jennifer Lawrence said in an interview with Vanity Fair about her own hack, QUOTE “It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime,” she tells Kashner. “It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change.”

We couldn’t agree more. Even if people are famous, we don’t have a right to their body or personal photos! This whole situation kinda has us wondering though – is it easier for Tyler to brush the hack off because he’s a guy, or are we just desensitized to celebrities’ privacy being violated? He has a really nice D by the way….

  2. I don't know what it is maybe it's societal upbringing that roots in history OR biology but men seem to be a lot more sexually aggressive, from my perspective. And being that the majority of men on earth are heterosexual, there could be this unequal amount of attention that makes the private images of men fade more quickly than women. I also think many other factors play into this like how sexualising men has been pretty much a taboo if you really think about it, our societal history truly glorifies men. OPINION

  3. Oh here’s a tip!
Don’t take nude pics and then you won’t be exposed or delete it before people get their hands on it but it would be less risky if you don’t take them in the first place.

  4. Good question. It’s because he’s a guy in my opinion. Ladies date one guy, make one song, wear one outfit, have one performance, do one movie, do one photo shoot or even make a statement & they are criticized & shamed to no extent. Gents are looked at as ladies men or it’s swept underneath the rug. Whatever the ‘controversy’ is. Sometimes it will be a issue for a woman & no one will even bat a eyelid at a man doing or saying the same. He can even do worse or actually be ‘scandalous’. More so just not a very desirable character. Yet people will adore that person. Sometimes using things that would be a very big negative for a girl & one would argue a negative in general as a good thing for a man or something to joke around with. It goes on & on. There’s very little wrong a man can do. Look at the president of the USA. Despicable character. Yet he runs the country. You chose him over HER.

  5. no he didn't get his pics stolen so stupid he sent them to this girl that sells celeb nudes and he did it while dating that chick so it means he cheated he gave those nudes away and cody too and also the other cop that turns into fire

  6. I stopped watching after the death of the monster hunter gurl lile wtf they kept on throwing away characters girls and he would just fall in love with another gurl n i was like wtf lol im done thus is too much

  7. That's a sex crime, Tyler deserves respect. He already gives so much to the public, so much of his life his kindness and beauty, he was always so friendly and open and to disrespect that personal private side is so wrong that can't tell how wrong it is. I have a lot respect for actors/actresses because they put up with a lot of stuff (really bad stuff) and people may think they earn good but for what they go through sometimes 2nd think if it's worth it and sometimes don't earn as much as you think and struggle.
He deserves respect like everybody else and his sexuality and privacy is sacred.
